Founded in 1924 in Stockport, Cheshire, the Vernon is an independent, mutual building society. They seek to provide competitive mortgages, savings and investment products and to be a trusted source of reliable financial advice within their local community.
To get under the skin of the Vernon's brand we facilitated a series of brand platform workshops with the building society’s team and key stakeholders to empower and help shape the key brand values.
'Customer Experience' shone through, scored highly and was at the heart of the Vernon in the brand platform workshops. This was instrumental in developing the brand identity, the 'star' communicates customer experience whilst its hand drawn style reflects the human and personal touch.
